| Features | iSAR² (head) closely simulates the area scan tests for devices operated at the ear as required by IEC62209-1, IEEE 1528, OET65, etc. The shape and thickness of the shell correspond to the ear-mouth line of the SAM head. The filling material consists of solid absorbing gel simulating head or body tissue specifications in the frequency range of 300 MHz to 6 GHz. A sensor array of 256 dipoles covers an active measurement area of 240 mm x 120 mm that is parallel to the surface and embedded 4mm into the absorbing material. The interface is via Ethernet. Various software packages are available for production line and prototype testing applications. Customized software is also offered. |
